have been manufacturers and designers of high pressure die-casting dies since 1969. The careful technical training along with the considerable experience can guarantee good casting quality high production rates and long life at the die-casting dies

  Description of Matrix activity

A) Analysis of the component/part to produce with h.p. diecasting

B) Study of the best position for the gate

C) General arrangement (Lay-out)

D) 3D of the cavities

E) 2D detailed drawings for all the items to be manufactured

F) Calculation of running gate and ingate according to SDCE spec. (U.S.)

G) Selection of the cavity steel between AISI H11 (Wr 2343) or AISI H13

     (Wr 2344) with relative certificate

H)  Heat treatment for cavity steel: salt hardening and vacuum hardening 

     with relative certificate

I)  Drawings are made with the following softwares:

Testing
 Matrix have their own die casting plant to test the dies with the most accurate attention. The following H.P. diecasting m/c are employed:

  • 250 tons BU              n° 1 m/c

  • 400 tons BU              n° 1 m/c

  • 1200 tons TRIULZI  n° 1 m/c

Other diecasting m/c available for die trial: 1600 tons, 2500 tons and 3500 tons
